The music from the year
It's a party in the usa
Music plays a huge role in my life. Not a day goes by when I do not listen to a song, an album, or fall asleep with my iPod still on. (I apologise profusely for my careless abandon of fire-safety advice.) So quite naturally, I could not have a website detailing my time abroad without including the music from my unofficial official soundtrack of the year.
*Disclaimer: I do not own, or profess to own, the following songs. All rights re music, lyrics, editing etc. reside with their respective copyright owners.
*Second disclaimer: I stringently deny that I may or may not be word-perfect to many a song on this list. I leave it up to you to decide which songs they may be.
'Musical Memories' - the songs that will forever remind me of America.
'Sorority Snaps' - the songs my sisters sang.
'The RA's away, so turn up the volume and play' - my dorm room staged musicals.
'Downtown Dancing' - the soundtrack from the local bar and club scene.
'Headphones in, World's Out' - my own daily dose of musical madness when in the college library/fighting Finals.
I was on top of the world when at Coe, if you couldn't tell already.
But I cannot conclude this playlist without this - my 'shipping off to America' song.
